I am very excited to announce a new project that I am a part of. As you have gathered from this blog, I love to read. And because of this love (and possibly by my high level of book enthusiasm), I have been asked to be a part of a new group/website called Great New Books. This will be a place to discuss books released in the past year. Our goal is to spread the word on what’s new on the shelves and why you should read it.

We hope to enlighten readers of some great new books that they might never have heard of otherwise. The coolest thing about it is that I will be joined by four other (and maybe two more) great book-lovin’ readers, Melissa Crytzer Fry, Julia Munroe Martin, Nina Badzin, and Jennifer Lyn King. We met online and even though we are all writers, we are also readers.

Great New Books will feature a book a month and follow up with blog posts to generate discussion. This is a site for readers and not for author promotion. We will be talking about books from a reader’s perspective and nothing else.
