My writing partner
I am a sucker for a fuzzy face. How could you not? Look at this guy.
We fell in love from the first lick and have never looked back. Okay, I looked a few times after a destroyed pillow and a ruined pair of shoes. But we’ve moved on.
Brogan is my faithful companion as I sit in my office and write. He keeps my feet warm while I read my favorite book. He is also a great distraction from both when he desperately needs to go outside right that minute to let the local squirrels know they aren’t welcome.
We aren’t sure if he a drinking problem but we are keeping an eye on it.
We think he may have some celebrity family ties. In this one, he could pass for Chewbacca’s distant relation.
However, in this flattering shot, the resemblance to Fozzy the Bear from The Muppets is uncanny.
He is TOTALLY into what I’m writing as you can see here…
I used to have two writing partners but recently we put this old girl to sleep. She was about nine years old in this photo. We put her down when she was fourteen and somewhat loony. This is one of my favorite pictures of her.
Somewhere in doggie heaven, I’d like to think that she has her spunk back and is back to being her goofy self.
I even bet she has humped God’s leg a few times. She had a thing for guys.
So now I am down to one writing partner and I’m hoping he sticks around awhile. He totally gets me. And I him.
He still gives me this look (he’s two now) and my heart melts. It makes me lie down on the floor and want to kiss his face off.
