“The Gods created certain kinds of beings to replenish our bodies; they are the trees and the plants and the seeds.”
These are one of my favorite ways to support my health naturally as well as for my family. I started using them in the spring of 2014 and they changed by life forever.
I had been on a health journey since my youngest was just a baby and finding essential oils was like coming home. The life-draining chronic health issues I had had for so long ended once I gave up the crappy American diet. I turned to whole and clean food (by clean I mean mostly organic, non-gmo, real food) most of the time and I never looked back. I felt so empowered by it all that I decided to keep sticking to the holistic path as much as I could. The obstacle I kept running into was medications, prescribed and over-the-counter. Most were filled with synthetic chemicals and caused unwelcome side effects. I tried homeopathic options at the store when I could but there were so many brands and it was hard to know which one was the best quality.
About this time, I began writing for some of my local publications with my main focus on parenting and health. I knew that what we fed our bodies directly affected how our minds and bodies worked but felt such a void when it came knowing what to do when my kiddos got sick. I didn't want to put Vick's Vapor Rub on their bodies any more because its made from synthetic and toxic ingredients. It didn't feel right anymore. I knew too much, I guess. I didn't want to pump them with red food dyed liquid pain reliever that I knew affected their brains and compromised the lining of their stomachs.
When I learned about essential oils, I practically fell to my knees in praise of the solution I had been looking for all along. I learned about their therapeutic benefits, started using them with great success and I've been a loyal and dedicated user ever since.
